Ben you were the wind beneath my wings

Ben was my official dressage horse, a 16.3h Holsteiner X TB gelding, A big lovable in your face guy who was very much part of our family.  

Some of his major wins include: Champion Preliminary 2005 Albany Agricultural show, Champion Novice 2005 Kojonup DressageChampion Novice 2006 Katanning Dressage Extravaganza, 2006 Great Southern Dressage Horse of  the Year, The geraldine Jacob Memorial Trophy for Most Consistant 2006, The Ollie Treasure Memorial Trophy for highest Points Albany 2005, Best Associate Katanning Member 2005, Best Official Kojonup Member 2005, Best Official Katanning Member 2006. Runner up Sports Person of the year Katanning 2007.

After having 12 months off to recover from major sinus surgery, Ben unfortunately broke his leg in a tragic paddock accident and very sadly had to be put down, whilst staying with a very special friend of his. We will miss this big gentle giant terribly and will always retain those fond memories in our hearts.. farewell my friend may you always fly high

I know great horses live again.
